Me and my mate Bruno really landed on our feet when we came to this apartment. Owners who keep us plied with warm lodgings and treats. And from time to time I get a squeaky toy, much to the annoyance of Bru, who at the earliest opportunity removes the squeakers because, he says, it hurts his ears. We have now accumulated enough toys to now own our own "toy box", which is filled up on a daily basis as my Mum gathers up 8 or 9 of our playthings from our mornings playtime activities. |
One Sunday at the end of July 2002 my Mum decided it was time I was treated again and she came home with the biggest rubber dumbbell you ever did see, and it made a honking noise when I grabbed it and shook it. It was great! Unfortunately, 3 days later, as I was giving it a shake a large steel nut and plastic parts flew out of it, much to everyone's amazement. |
My Mum was very upset and said that I or even a toddler could have swallowed them, and choked, or even died, she thought that all toys were made to safety standards. But there isn't any. |
So she is trying to get help for us and I am here to warn you before it is too late. |
Do you want to join my campaign to get safe toys for me and my mates. |
